Decoding Our Signature Styles

As a British brand, tailoring is quite literally in our DNA. Our commitment to crafting the perfect pair is what earned us the title of the trouser whisperers. And the forensic-level attention to detail that goes into each trouser we create is how we maintain it.
The Trouser Lab is where we do some of our best work. To celebrate the start of transitional dressing season, we’re making an in-depth return (although we never really left) with a refresh of some of our signature silhouettes, plus introducing a couple of new ones.
Icon Trouser
Named for its hero status, the Icon trouser is the epitome of considered proportions. Double pleats are stitched down for a smooth fit around the waist while delivering the perfect amount of volume through the wide-cut legs.
Leg Elongator
All about silhouette elongation, this pair is fitted around the hips before extending into a cleverly balanced flare designed to cover shoes and graze the floor for a smooth look and leg-lengthening illusion.
Barrel
The ultimate union of classic + contemporary style. Cleverly placed seams and angled pleating highlight this style's distinctive curved-leg look. Tapered hems ensure the perfect drape over footwear.
Balloon
Where clean, tailored lines and modern volume meet. The balloon leg has integrated flat belt loops and stitched-down pleats for a smooth, minimal fit around the hips, before curving into a barrel leg enhanced with elasticated cuffs.
Very Wide
A wide-leg silhouette defined by stitched-down inverted pleats that serve two main purposes: highlighting the fitted waist and adding more controlled volume through the leg.
Slim Crop
Creating our slim-leg shape is all about perfecting the pattern. Extra detail is paid to the inside leg + rise to ensure the clean shape, which is often streamlined by front seams or pressed creases.
Skinny
A timeless silhouette that plays a specific role in your wardrobe, especially as we get into winter boot season. Mastering the skinny-fit leg is about cleverly contoured seams - we bring them forward for a flattering look and feel - and considered shape-retaining fabrics like stretch-infused ponte or nappa leather.
Straight Leg
Not quite slim, not quite wide, our crop or full-length straight-leg trouser is the ultimate in-between that doesn’t overwhelm the figure. The clean, straight-cut leg makes the ideal partner to oversized and fitted blazer silhouettes alike.
