HOW TO ORDER
Orders shall be accepted at our sole discretion but will normally be accepted if the goods that you order are available and your credit card is authorised for the transaction. We will contact you if there are any problems with these issues.
Prices quoted to you are the prices set at the time. If for any reason they are increased we will let you know by e-mail and inform you prior to processing your order. We will accept your order when we send you an invoice with your goods.
If an order is gateway rejected due to our security settings, please note that if you attempt the order multiple times the bank will hold these funds in a pending status for up to 5 working days. Please do not reattempt your orders and call the customer care team on 08456 800 975 or 3456 800 975 who will be able to assist you.
We do try to ensure that pictures of the goods on our website are accurate. However, there may be slight variations in colour and texture between the pictures and the goods themselves.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Switch, Solo and PayPal.
All transactions are taken in pounds sterling (£). If your credit card is in any other currency, the rate of exchange will be that of your card issuer and you may be charged an international fee by them.

ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
We will send you an e-mail confirmation receipt of your order. The contract between us (ME+EM Ltd) and you (the customer) becomes binding when we send you an invoice (with your goods).
Your card will be charged automatically when you place your order. If for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order, a full refund will be given.
All prices quoted on this website are inclusive of UK taxes (VAT) at the current rate (20%). We automatically deduct UK VAT for orders being delivered outside of the European Community. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.

PROMOTIONAL/DISCOUNT OFFER TERMS + CONDITIONS
From time to time ME+EM run Promotions and Offers on selected products or lines we refer to these collectively as our "Promotional/Discount Offers".
All of our Promotional/Discount Offers are subject to the below Terms + Conditions;
+ Valid on full-priced items and cannot be used on sale or promotional items which are already discounted unless otherwise stated
+ Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer;
+ Valid for a limited period of time as specified in the marketing communication, they cannot be used outside of that period and previous purchases are not eligible;
+ They may not be valid in stores unless otherwise stated;
+ If an item is returned which brings the amount spent below any qualifying level, the offer value may be deducted from any refund;
+ Shopping codes are for use by the intended recipient only and proof of entitlement may be requested;
+ All orders are subject to acceptance and any improper use of shopping codes may result in the cancellation of your order;
+ Specific offer terms and conditions are provided with each Shopping Code - for specific information relevant to that offer, please refer to marketing material on which it is featured.
+ All orders are subject to stock availability and we reserve the right to withdraw, amend or extend offers at any time, without prior notice;
+ Orders cannot be amended once placed and discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively;

Please Note: When an order is placed using a promotional/discount code and contains a number of items, the value of the discount is spread over each item according to the pro-rated value of that item. Any refund of an item purchased in such an order will be reduced by the value of discount attached to it. The ‘discount’ will not be refunded.
Consumer Cancellation Rights 2013. This legislation offers you the following cancellation rights when you purchase goods online or by phone.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations 2013, you are entitled to cancel your contract for a full refund no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive your ME+EM goods.
Your right to return products does not apply to goods made for your specification, that have been clearly personalised or have not been reasonably cared for whilst in your possession.
All order cancellations must be made in writing, using our Cancellation Form by email or post within 14 calendar days starting the day after you receive your order before the order is returned. Please contact Customer Care to request a Cancellation Form.

If your order has already commenced the processing stage, it will be necessary for you to return the goods following our Returns Policy Instructions detailed above however please note that you must cover the cost of the return shipment, as our Free Returns service does not apply to cancelled orders.
The cost of return and care of the goods are your responsibility until they reach us, therefore we recommend for security purposes, that you insure the parcel for the value of the goods and retain your Proof of Postage Receipt.
The reimbursement will be credited without undue delay to the purchaser’s original payment method within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.
At the point of reimbursing you for your cancelled order, we will also reimburse your standard delivery costs (if applicable). In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2013, we will only refund standard delivery charges if the entire order is returned, but if only part of the order is returned we are not obliged to refund any of the delivery charge.

We will deliver the goods to the address for delivery that you specified when you placed your order. Please be accurate when you give us your address details, as we will not be liable if the address that you have given and which we will deliver to is incorrect. We recommend selecting one of our 'Signature Required' delivery services to ensure the goods are delivered and received. We will not be responsible for the goods once they have been delivered to the address specified on the order.
If your order is confirmed as lost by the shipping provider and after their investigation process is complete, we will replace your order only. If the items are no longer required please return them to us using the freepost returns label and ensure you obtain proof of postage from the post office. If the items are out of stock we will process a refund.
You will own the goods once they have been delivered to the address specified on the order and when we have received cleared payment for the goods in full. Until that time then we will retain title to the goods.
If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a Free UK Returns Policy on all Refund / Exchange requests.
All items must be returned within 28 days of receipt of the order with the completed Online Returns Form enclosed, and must be returned new, unused, and in the original packaging with all ME+EM garment tags and labels attached.
Once we have received your returned item(s) at our warehouse, we will send you an email to confirm receipt of the returned goods. Please allow 10 working days for your return to reach us. We cannot be held responsible for item(s) lost in transit.
We will then inspect the returned item(s) and providing the order has been sent back as per the ME+EM Returns Policy, we will process your return request within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods and will send you further email notification to confirm this.

Please take extra care when trying on your garments . We recommend wearing a protective scarf to avoid transferring cosmetics onto fabric and removing all deodorant, fragrences and jewellery.
Any item(s) returned as ‘Faulty’ will be inspected by our Garment Technician and any item(s) that are returned damaged as a result of wear and tear will not be considered as faulty and will be returned back to the customer. (Examples of wear and tear are item(s) that are returned soiled, marked or with any stains or perfume odours, material that contains fabric pulls, snags or bobbles or garments washed incorrectly.)
If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be replaced including delivery costs if the return is considered a manufacturing fault.
Please contact Customer Care if you have experienced a manufacturing fault with one of our products to discuss your options prior to returning the item(s).
RETURNING GIFTED ITEMS
At present we do not offer gift receipts but we do offer gift vouchers (see below). If an item was received as a gift and the recipient would like to return the item for a refund, the refund will be made to the original order payment method. An email confirmation will be sent to the person who made the original purchase.
If the customer requires an exchange, an exchange can only be made for the same item in a different size/colour as per the Returns Policy. The exchange will be sent to the shipping address on the original order and an email confirmation will be sent to the person who made the original purchase.
We currently offer purchasable e-voucher gift cards which are sent electronically via email.
ME+EM Gift Vouchers can be purchased online or by calling Customer Care on 03456 800 975
The minimum purchase amount is £25 and the maximum is £500.
Gift Vouchers are redeemable online only and cannot be used in store or concessions.
Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or store credit. Products purchased with Gift Vouchers are not available for cash refunds. Promotional codes or discounts cannot be used when purchasing a gift voucher.
The Gift Voucher email will be sent at point of purchase. You can email the gift voucher to yourself and forward this on at a later date or print it and put it in a card.
Expiry is 12 months from the purchase date.
If the Gift Voucher is not used for a consecutive period of 12 months from purchase the voucher will automatically expire at the end of that period and the balance on the voucher will be forfeited.
When redeeming a Gift Voucher, the value of the purchase will be deducted from the balance on the card. If you part pay using a Gift Voucher, the full amount will be taken from the Gift Voucher and the remaining amount from the alternative method of payment.
ME+EM Gift Vouchers are equivalent to cash, and like cash if lost, stolen or damaged cannot be replaced.
Jewellery returns will only be accepted with original packaging. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on earrings due to hygiene reasons, unless the item is faulty and not fit for purpose. This does not affect your statutory rights.
ME+EM Ltd is the owner of this website. We respect your personal information and endeavour at all times to comply with the Data Protection legislation, which is in force.
Information may be stored manually or electronically. Any personal information you give us will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and our Data Protection Registration Notification.
If you use our site to order goods or to request information from us, you will be asked for your personal information which we will store in our database.
We use the information provided by you to:

In the unlikely event that our business may be sold to another company then the data records that make up part of our business will be transferred.
There may be circumstances where we may share some of your data with third parties: credit card details will be shared with our agents (including HSBC, credit reference agencies, credit card clearing agencies, fraud prevention and detection agencies) and our fulfilment partners that we use to process the orders you place with us or who assist us in the service we provide to you. We shall not be liable to you in connection with this agreement in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss of profit, anticipated savings or data (in each case whether direct or indirect) or any indirect loss.

VARIATION OF TERMS + CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information on the website from time to time.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, to which both parties submit.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
ME+EM are committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics within our business at all times.
+ Where possible, we source fabrics that wash well at 30°C.
+ Washing at 30°C uses a third less electricity than washing at 60°C. (Source: Energy Saving Trust)
+ All our brochures are now printed on PEFC Certified paper from sustainably managed forests and controlled sources.
+ All our cardboard boxes are made from recycled materials.
+ Whilst we do use FSC approved tissue paper with our packaging, we keep this to a minimum.
+ The polybag we use to send out orders is resealable and we encourage its reuse, particularly when returning items. This bag is comprised of a percentage of recycled materials.
We work with suppliers all over the world: China, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Nepal, India and the UK. Relationships are important to ME+EM. We always aim to work with suppliers and factories that share our responsibilities and values. We are proud of our collections which reflect the best raw materials and sourcing we can find.
+ Portugal, where we use an OEKO-TEX® certified manufacturer who is committed to providing high quality production whilst ensuring that there is a comprehensive benefit scheme in place for all its employees.
+ We make regular visits to our factories to ensure that the environment in which their employees work is of a high standard, and meet many of the team who work on ME+EM.
+ All factories used in the production of our paper products (boxes, bags, and tissue paper) are ISO approved so everyone is paid fairly and over 18 years old.
+ We are also investigating sourcing fabric closer to the point of manufactory and delivery in order to cut down on airport freight.
+ Our leather products are sourced from the best available supplier’s, produced in a sustainable and responsible manner and must only be obtained as a by-product.
+ From SS16, ME+EM do not use real fur or pelts in any of our products.
+ We are committed to providing ME+EM clothes for charitable events.
+ To date, we have worked with the FSID (Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths), Macmillan Cancer Support, The Warwickshire Hospice, Treehouse, Ambitious about Autism and Starlight and the British Heart Foundation.
