MERCHANDISING ADMIN ASSISTANT

This role will provide essential administration support for the Merchandising team, liaising with suppliers and managing stock distribution into our stores. This is a great opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic individual who is looking to learn about the retail industry and progress within a growing business.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide correct administration of all stock movements (intake, transfers, QC returns).
  • Ensure all order and product attributes are updated and correctly uploaded onto the system.
  • Produce weekly store reports, reviewing sales and stock position to identify any opportunities to maximise sales and stock turnover.
  • Action store stock allocation and replenishment orders.
  • Liaise with our Suppliers and Warehouse to monitor the delivery process, highlighting delivery issues to the Buyers and Merchandisers.
  • Support the team by effectively managing the markdown administration.
  • Support Merchandisers with ad hoc analysis.
  • Work with the team to ensure all department deadlines are being met.

  • Confident and articulate communicator, able to build strong effective relationship.

ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER

As an Assistant Merchandiser you will provide support to the Merchandiser and Junior Merchandiser, in all aspects of trading stock and sales across both Online and stores.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day support to the Merchandiser, monitoring delivery process by liaising with Suppliers, Buying and Warehouse, as well as analysis to support decision making.
  • Produce weekly, monthly & seasonal sales, stock & markdown reporting.
  • Monitor sales and stock, both at line and channel performance, to identify & recommend profit opportunities and to minimise markdown.
  • Update and maintain the category WSSI, identifying commercial risk and opportunity.
  • Manage monthly category sales and returns analysis.
  • Manage sizing analysis to present opportunities to drive sales & profit.
  • Manage both a landed and FOB supply base for stock delivery, highlighting delivery issues to the B&M team and communicating impact to E-com, Finance and Marketing teams.
  • Support the team by effectively managing the markdown administration.
  • Support and develop the Merchandising Administration Assistants in the department.
  • Oversee MAA to ensure product attributes are updated and correctly uploaded onto the system.
  • Manage MAA to action store stock allocation and replenishment orders.

  • Strong administration & analytical skills, who is highly organised with a real attention to detail.
